Prof. PhD. Mariângela Cristofani-Yaly

Biography

The researcher has a degree in Agronomic Engineering from ESALQ/USP (1986), with a Master's (1991) and PhD (1997) in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) at ESALQ/USP. She is a scientific researcher VI at the Instituto Agronômico de Campinas (IAC), with experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on plant breeding, working mainly on the following topics: citrus breeding and genetic mapping for disease resistance. She is the coordinator of the research groups on Breeding and Citrus Genetic Mapping at the Centro de Citricultura Sylvio Moreira, do Instituto Agronômico de Campinas (IAC). The researcher coordinated regular and thematic research support projects funded by Fapesp and MCTI/CNPq. She is a member of the Committee for the Protection and Registration of Cultivars of the Instituto Agronômico (IAC) and Technical Responsible (RT) of the Centro de Citricultura with Renasem/Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA). She is a CNPq Researcher Level 2.
