Graduated in Food Engineering from Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (2001), participated in the Sandwich Graduation program in Germany (CAPES / DAAD) at Technische Universität München (1999), master's degree (2004), doctorate (2009) and post-doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas. She has experience in the area of Chemical and Food Engineering with emphasis on biopolymers, films, active packaging, controlled release and matrices for cell immobilization and active ingredients. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Dept Tecnologia Agroindustrial e Sócio Economia Rural (DTAiSER), Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) – Campus Araras.
