Biography
Graduated (2001) in Agronomic Engineering from ESALQ/USP where he did a PhD in Phytotechnics. He has experience in Vegetables, with emphasis on Genetic Improvement (biotic and abiotic factors), hydroponic cultivation and vegetable seed production. He is a professor and researcher at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), Centro de Ciências Agrárias, Dept de Biotecnologia e Produção Vegetal e Animal, Campus Araras. As a vegetable breeder, he develops tropicalized cultivars and hybrids for commercial use, registered (RNC) and protected (SNPC) with MAPA (Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture).
