Prof. PhD. Dânia Elisa Christofoletti Mazzeo Morales

Biography

Biologist, graduated from UNESP (Rio Claro), Master and Doctor in Biological Sciences – Cellular and Molecular Biology, from the same institution. She completed a sandwich doctorate at the Instituto de Diagnóstico Ambiental y Estudios del Agua – CSIC (Spain). She carried out a post-doctorate at the Institute of Chemistry of UNESP – Araraquara; at the Department of Aquatic Ecotoxicology at the Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main (Germany); and in the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences - Applied Microbiology, at the Biosciences Institute of UNESP - Rio Claro. She is currently a professor at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), at the Dept Biotecnologia e Produção Animal e Vegetal (DBPVA), Centro de Ciências Agrárias (CCA), Araras/SP, working in the areas of Ecotoxicology, Bioremediation and Utilization of wastes for agricultural purposes.
