Biography
Graduated in Agronomy (1998) from Universidade Federal de Pelotas, Master in Entomology (2002), sub-area Plant Breeding, from Cornell University, United States, PhD in Agronomy (2008), sub-area Genetics and Plant Breeding, by the Universidade de São Paulo, Escola de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz". She is currently Assistant Professor at the the Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Dept Ciências da Natureza, Matemática e Educação, Centro de Ciências Agrárias – Campus Araras. She operates in the area of Molecular Interaction between the sugarcane plant and its insect pests, microbiota of the digestive tract and phytopathogens.
